The Sacrament of Reconciliation, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and Masses will be held at Stella Maris Chapel.  Our Pastor was Fr. Fred Smuda, OSFS, (retired May 22, 2025) an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales.

We welcome Fr. Jay Selvaraj, MSFS for the summer to Hatteras Island and Ocracoke Island. He is a Missionary of St. Francis de Sales. We are blessed with his ministry.

Stella Maris translates to Mary, Star of the Seas and honors Mary, for whom the mother parish, Our Lady of the Seas is named, as well as the awe that those on the island have for the stars in the night sky.
